Swine Flu - information Recently there has been a lot of talk and concern over the swine flu. Well now that we have several cases reported in the State of Florida The North Bay Fire Fighters continue to get updates and are watching the situation. Changes to CPR and First Aid Courses Due to so many people signing up for and then now showing up for the CPR and first aid courses the instructors have had to introduce a new policy. If you wish to register for a CPR or First Aid course you must prepay for course. When you come in to pay for the course you will be given all the details. Sorry for the inconvenience that this might cause.

Even with the recent showers in the district, there is still a concern with wildfires. Please
be careful with any outdoor fires or activities that could lead to
a brush or wildfire! Like burning of leaves, use of legal
fireworks, smoking.
Contact
the Fire Station for the burn rules in our area.
Yes there are rules for burning leaves, and trash.
There can be a fine if you burn illegally.
So please call before you burn. Contact

The Crews have had several calls that tested their skills in the last month. Several Cardiac calls where the patient was experiencing a true cardiac emergency. The crews made critical interventions that lead to a positive outcome for the patients. |
